Set deep within the ancient woodlands of the private Brithdir Hall Estate near Welshpool, Powys, Funk in the Forest returns for its highly anticipated second edition from 11–13 July 2025.

This intimate festival blends cutting-edge electronic music with the untamed beauty of rural Wales. Hidden away in a secluded valley, the site is rich with character—towering pine trees, banks of lush ferns, open meadows, and hillside views stretching across the Severn Valley toward Montgomery Castle and the hills beyond.

Wander through woodland paths lit with atmospheric lighting, discover tucked-away corners filled with art and creativity, and lose yourself in a setting that feels completely off-grid. The estate’s natural contours shape the flow of the festival, creating a unique sense of space and connection.

Beyond the music, expect wood-fired pizza, local beers served from forest bars, a boutique market showcasing independent makers, and plenty of hidden gems waiting to be discovered.

Funk in the Forest is more than just a festival, it’s a weekend escape into nature, sound, and community, where every detail is designed to spark connection.
